drop the blades into the dirt, cut once, and let the sun take care of the rest. no more mowing for the rest of the year. OR......what i like to do is let it grow and turn it into HAY. weekly mowing is such a waste.

Keep in mind you're talking to someone who is seriously considering going to SUNY Cobleskill and majoring in Turf Grass Management.

The only part of college that I dread is the gen-eds. Especially the english one. Ugh. I already speak friggin English. Why do I need to take a class for it?
Oh and for the record my english teacher is stupid. We were talking about college and crap for some reason in her class and I made mention that everyone I talked to likes college better than highschool since you are learning what you want to. Then she says "Well you have to take certain classes" so I said "Yea you have to take gen-eds, but you can still take course specific classes" so she says "Well you can't in your first year"
I told her that wasn't true and it turned into a big argument and that's yet another reason I hate that woman and she hates me.

It's a great Ag. school and in a nice little community.
I always enjoyed the Fairgrounds and the Iroquois museum out on Barneville road.
Howe caverns is a nice escape from the heat in late summer.
Murphy's pub located in the basement of the Bulls Head Inn makes some great food.
We used to launch rockets on one of John Adams' farms.
From '93, until 2 years ago when a neighboring field was subdivided for houses.

Only downsides of Cobleskill
1: The drive there and back is very boring.
2: There's nothing to do on weekends so you end up at home pretty much every weekend since it's only a 3 hr drive
3: There ain't nothing IN Cobleskill. The major attractions are Tractor Supply, Walmart, and the one screen movie theater. Oh and the auctions 20 minutes or so away. I forget the name right now...

1) Not really. What route do you take? 145 through Cairo and Middleburg in nice.
2) You could be working up there, and saving money on the commute
3) There's an Agway, Auto parts, Ford dealer and one room courthouse too! (don't ask)
Heck, it's a half hour from Albany! The big city...

What is there to work at besides the Walmart, TSC, or a farm?
