Started around 4p as sleet, got 1/2" before it changed to all snow, now have about 3" of snow with 7" more predicted for tonight and up to 4" for Monday.

it is not nice here today.
being a coastal storm, it is dumping a lot of white stuff, and the winds are kicking 20-30 mph.
a friend of mine lost his new plow rig at 1:30 am. he was on the edge of highway doing a parking lot, and a drunk driver in a buick century lost control, slid across the road, and drilled him in the passenger side.
took out both doors, cab, bed, fender, both wheels, and may have bent the frame.
he said the driver side doors do not open, he had to crawl out the back window into the bed to get out of the truck.
this is the same guy that lost his 88 chevy last year when it got hit by a drunk driver at 3am parked in the driveway, ripping the rear out of it.
needless to say, he is not a happy camper.

Ah man that's terrible... Sorry to hear that. By me they are saying total accumulations 12-14 inches.

we only got about 6 inches total, but the winds are making some areas barren, and others with 2 foot drifts.
