Go to see that the same family kept the truck for 45 years. The truck looks good for being 45-just middleage.

Love the nitrous in the box. Great way to hide it. You add a remote bottle opener and you have some good medicine for those Chebies, lol. Thinking of adding a little insurance on my truck once I'm further along. Some electric exhaust dumps would be awesome as well.

Thanks for the pics

Obviously I'm doing a frame swap. I pulled them together today to take some pics and let them get to know each other. I'm sure their going to get along well together.

You know I've never pulled the numbers to see what the orginal color was called. Always just called it blue and white, lol. I'll look at the door codes tomorrow.

Polly want a cracker?

There's no such color as Poly (or Polly) Silver Blue.

Looks like (M) Wimbledon White & (W) Marlin Blue.

There's no way to tell exactly what year that fire truck is without the VIN.

The right/left grilles were used on 1966/69 F800/1000's.

Wow, am I blown away with this thread and the collection of these classic treasures, appears you have your fair share. The 62 unibody looks great; just curious, not being familiar with the 62 unibody, the pic of the interior, is that the cab light, if so, was it standard, I like it. Also, have a styleside with tie downs along exterior of the bed and sometimes find them useless, the chrome rails look cool. Anyhow, great looking ride, imagine it's a conversation piece among the locals.

The interior lights as with the peddles are LTD & Caddy. (Numberdummies input here) The bed rails are from the top of a dodge Polaris wagon. Hope to change the steering wheel to LTD or T-Bird soon. Originally it was Black with an I6 and a 4 speed. I am trying to put the new pic's in the Gallery. While we had the FE out we worked the heads over and added an electronic ignition. Thanks for looking at it. And yes it is a blast to watch folks trip over the side walk when she drives bye. But there are a lot of trucks on here that will do that.

I don't recognize the interior lights, but the pic is kinda blurry...so it's hard to make out.

It looks like the exterior lamp used on the roof sides of 1973/78 LTD Landau's.

The brake pedal pad was originally used with disc brakes on 1967/76 Thunderbirds and Lincoln Mark III's and IV's.

btw: I have a NOS in the original box 3 spoke red steering wheel that fits 1961/70 F100/250's.

If you (and you alone) are interested...the price will be very right.

I do not have the horn ring.
