Murph that's a nice dentside; now find a good 65-66 with Twin I beam and you'll have the best of both worlds.
Also "First Today"; I wish a came across a uni in that good of shape. I'm jealous myself.
Mitch
Thanks Mitch.
Like I said, I began searching for a '65, '66.
When funds permit, I'll land one someday.
My friend in High School had a '66 that I absolutely adored.
I couldn't express my adoration for his '66 while I was rebuilding my '75 Chevy, right?
Anyway, I'm still looking.
By the way, I've nosed around in your gallery, Mitch.
Very nice fleet of trucks there.
Sorry to disappoint, I haven't done anything cosmetic to the truck yet.
However, I have many plans for the engine and trans.
Now, I'm running a stock 300 w/ a "3 on the tree".
When I do the rebuild, I want to include the "600" series
intake and exhaust manifolds, and a T18 or T19 transmission.
I'd be honored if you guys want to see pics.
I might post them anyway. : )
July 2009 after painting the frame and installing the DJM beams and MP Disc Brake
and a look at the rear with 9" axle with DJM drop and Energy Suspension bushings
The next i want to start is sandblasting the cabin, rebuilding the 390ci engine and C6 tranny.
We will see...frame off resto is a hard way for us here in germany. There is no junkyard for those cars
New to FTE an I enjoying reading all of the great threads about trucks. I have attached a pic of the truck that I just purchased. Hope with the help of all the members of FTE I can restore this truck.
Here are some photos that the guy sent me, I will take my own when I get it
Cool, it's a keeper. Other than some surface rust and couple areas with body rot the truck looks in good condition. Suggest put time into making sure it's mechanically sound, meantime, drive and decide what, if any, upgrades, and how far you want to get into it. Again, it looks good, congrates on your new found treasure.
