[quote=NumberDummy;7427939]It's a Custom Cab, so it should have stainless steel hubcaps (C3TZ1130C) with the letters FORD painted red.

The hubcaps that are on there now (C1TT1130A-Argent)...are one of two types of the hubcaps used for Standard Cabs.

The other version of this exact same hubcap was painted white (C5TZ1130A) with red FORD letters.

The stainless hubcap has just been reproduced.[/quot

Hey Bill I haven't picked on you in a long time. Sooooooooo.

A hub cap is the little one that covers the spindle nut on the front of a 2 wheel drive. A wheel cover is what covers the lug nuts. I know this because i got it wrong in Auto School. hehehe.

CORRECT FORD TERMINOLOGY

Ford basic part numbers & descriptions of each:

1130: Wheel Cover or Hub Cap

1131: Grease Cap

A wheel cover covers the ENTIRE wheel, a hubcap only covers the CENTER of the wheel, a grease cap covers the spindle nut.

I don't give a scheiss what some auto shop teacher, Generous Motors, Chisler, Toilet-a or anyone else calls it, but Ford calls it a HUB CAP.

I'm not sure who is reproducing them, but I've seen them.

Last June, several days before the Western Nationals Truck Show was held in Yorba Linda CA (Orange County), Don (camperspecial65) and I went to The Truck Stop in Orange CA.

They have the stainless caps there.

Truck pics

Hey guys,
I tried to post pictures of my truck in the album, but kept getting error messages. I decided to do it on my blog, which is here: Adam Saenz
Sure would be honored if you could visit the blog, check out the pictures, and give me your feedback about what looks like its going well and what I might be missing.
Thanks,
doc

Wat's up Doc. Hey I will be parting out a 66 Custom Cab this summer. I believe the core support is better than yours and I have all the stainless trim including a chrome grill and lots more. PM me if interested.
