3rd Annual Show-n-Shine
Drag Race and Swap Meet
just got thinking might put it up so maybe if anyone wants to attend it (I will almost certainly be at a majority of them LOL) or maybe plan a gtg around one of them we can.
Here is teh web site, you can follow the link for rules.
It is run what ya brung. you do have to pass tech, but on most street cars it is just make sure the battery is bolted down and you have a catch can for the radiator and it's not dumping oil all over the place. If you get into the low 8s then it gets more serious on tech of coarse. But I run teh diesel the last couple years and have a blast plus just fun to socialize (Roger and others can testify I like to talk )

Sounds like a plan for a meet. I like the 10th or 22 of May.... after finals, before summer classes start...

Sweet!!
This means I have to work on my truck and get my new up-pipes on along with updating to my van turbo. I need a good reason to get it done, besides 'it's cold out'.

Well i did go on sunday, still have some things to dial in and work on but first pass was a 9.009, did some jet changes and got it down to a 8.912 @ 77.49mph, did another jet change but mess up shifting so didn't get a good pass in to determine if it helped or not so guess I will check it out next weekend.

I was wondering how it turned out. Hopefully I can make it one of these weekends here soon. I still have to replace my up-pipes and turbo, and need to do it soon!!! I'm hauling bales today and I can tell I just don't have the boost I use to.

I have finals this week and next week, then next weekend I will be in South Dakota, so maybe after that I can slip down there...

So you plan on being there tonight? I might try to talk the wife into stopping, she and the daughter are dragging me to Adventureland, so it's only fair....
