Lightning Pickup

i have been reading in here and found several mentions about lightning pickups. i have just purchased a 1992 red lightning .can anyone tell me the difference in a lightning and a regular f150.by the way i have the 5.0 efi engine

A 92 is not a lightning. Check the 8th digit in your vin it will be an R on a lightning. The first generation lightning was 93-95 the second is 99+. The 93-95 differences are 351w with GT40 intake/heads, modified E40D trans, aluminum driveshaft, 4.10 limited slip in lightning only housing, reinforced frame, seats, wheels, decals, etc.

hes right...if youve got a 92 and it is a 302 then you do not have a lightning....gimme the vin#
