Cooking Oil

Hi, I am looking into buying a diesel truck soon and have a few questions. My fiancy's father has a bio-diesel plant in his garage and that is most of the reason I want a diesel. How ever; I've heard some of the new ford trucks don't do so good with used veggie oil even cleaned and filtered. Why? They didn't say; my guess is design from the 7.3L to what ever they have between then and now. I think I'm going to be buying a 1999-2007 Superduty when I sell my 1998 F150. So that is the truck I would like to know a little bit about. (Idk what engine I will end up getting) So any help would be great. Thanks
