I'm on vacation with my family from Good Friday April 10th through Sunday the 19th.
As with any GTG not all of us can make it and there is no rule about a "GTG isn't a GTG" unless the Chapter Leader leader is there to call the disorder to order.
Should that become the rule, then donjamer should be there.
I suspect the most important aspect of the GTG is the food arrangements just ask those Massachusetts guys.
Ray, a word of caution, the regulars for the Massachusetts GTG's can eat for two.
As a side note, the Massachusetts crew had been / is still open to meeting there in March and coincidentally:
Fire History display on loan to The Golden Age of Trucking Museum which will be discussed during its upcoming Saturday Seminar, March 7th., 11am until 3pm.
I suggest we start cross-chatting with the Massachusetts Chapter in their current B/s thread.

Dave I have heard that museum is real nice. I think it would be a great place for a GTG.

Dave...set the date and time...and then start a thread...you know we will promote it in the MA Chapter!!!
By the way...I will be in attendance...be afraid...be very afraid!!!
........................................
There is ample time to fix the date & time.
At least till Mid March for the April GTG, by then the museum might have a day selected for some other presentation.
I guess I'll call the museum tomorrow and see what is happening for April.
The guys could decide that they want to get to the presentation on Fire Engines in March, as its a one day event.
In which case its a done deal.

Just another idea Bradley Air Museum is having a open cockpit day on March 15th.

But then they would always be in the predicament of accommodating my schedule of weekends free and I am a consensus person, not a director.
I loath being upgraded to supervisor.
And this ain't the military when I was an E-6 and gave orders.

Dave we can't please everyone.. There will always be someone that has a commitment.. There are other events..
We in the MA/NH chapters find Sunday is a good day that many can make.. I know Ken usually works Saturdays so he would need a few week notice to arrange things...

Hopefully Pete will have his drivers license and the time to make the GTG.
This also affords Justin another opportunity to make a GTG.
As for me, I will not be available for a GTG for the following April dates:
Saturday the 11th.
Easter Sunday the 12th.
Saturday the 18th.
Sunday the 19th.
Now if you guys discover that a larger turnout would muster on any particular Saturday or Sunday in April, then go for it.
As I said I am more for consensus than decree.

Now...if that is the April 26th that falls between the 25th and the 27th...I'll be able to make it. Put me down for 1 plus a guest!!! I just have to remember to have my tetanus booster shot about a week in advance!!!
Of course...it would be helpful if some sort of time and agenda were posted also.
I'm coming Connecticut...be afraid...be very afraid!!!
