Talking Rims, The next big thing.

getting new chrome rims has become a bigger problem than getting the rad.

Because of the off set and 5 bolt pattern and the large hubs on the front axles my choices are somewhat limited.

I wanted 18" chrome for a compromise between good size (fills wheel well) and good hwy driving.

I'm finding I will have to go 20" to get the correct offset which makes the tires a little pricey.

Anyone have any suggestions? Keeping in mind I don't want aluminum or polished I want chrome and nothing with all the circles cut out.

"20"s should be easier, and I have to admit I love the bling.

can't off road with them but if I was going off roading I'd change up to the AT's with 16" rims.

The big problem is bolt pattern and hub size, big on the Bronco.

Why is the bolt pattern a problem? Same pattern is used on Dodges and Jeeps!

Did you keep the bling rims from your red truck?

I'm told it's the offset that is different and the front hubs on the Bronco are huge compared to others, any of the newer stuff is all enclosed and the hub hole size in the rim is not as big a concern.

As for the bling on the red truck, no I let those go with the truck just because they suited the truck to a "T" plus it got me an extra $2000 for the truck close to what I paid for them in the first place.

No accounting for taste!

It's your truck Rick but.....I can't think of anything that looks as bad as a bulky SUV like the Bronco running on huge rims. I see these clowns running around in Escalades that have the entire wheel well filled with aftermarket wheels sitting on tires with less than 2" of profile. They look like conestoga wagons , yuck! It's a 4x4 man , lets see some meat on the tires.
But like I said it's your truck if that turns your crank go for it, next you'll be "slammin" it and adding hydraulics to see it bounce. LOL

I'm not talking the little skinny low tires, I'm talking performance Yokohama premium tires with 10inch sidewalls.

And there will be no Bouncing or Slamming unless we count your comments

When I decide for sure I will post a picture or link of the rims.
