We just purchased an 06 Freestyle and I now want to hard wire in my Valentine one. Do any of you guys have a valentine one (or any radar detector) hardwired in? I did this on the Escape (that i sold) and my Protege, and it was easy. But the power outlets turn on and off with the car, so that was an easy place to tie in too. On the FS though, the power outlets stay on whether the car is on or off. Any thoughts on where to attach my power wire too? I need 12 volts that turns on and off with the car. Radio maybe? Or would that cause interference? Any ideas? Thanks
