I have an 07 expedition with a sunroof and have this rattling/vibrating noise in the overhead when I close the doors or drive on a bumpy road... Does this sound familiar?? I brought it to dealer for this but they didnt get to it, it sat there all day... So looking for a possible quick fix
YES! I can hear it right above my head when I am driving with the radio off. It almost sounds like double sided tape has pulled apart and you can hear the tackiness of the tape touching each other. If I push the slightest bit up on the headliner it stops. I had thought it was my daughter car seat rattling but it is deffinetly the headliner. Now it doesn't matter how load the radio is, I swear I can still hear it......I think I can hear it right now

Had the same problem with my F-250. Ford puts a little piece of foam tape up there that stops the rattle. It gone on the wind deflector that pops up when the sun roof is open. With the heat/cold it will sometime come off or move. You might stick you head up there and see if you can find it. Once you put it back the noise with be gone.
