Have a set of tow mirrors that i took off the truck. I am interested in selling them if anybody wants them. They have the chrome skull cap on them. I was thinking somewhere around $350 for both. Anybody interested can email me at billbucco64@verizon.net.

How hard is it to change your mirrors. I have a co-worker with a 08 that would like to trade. Is this possible and do you have to remove the inside door panel? Has anyone changed them and would like to share a tip or two?

Don't know if 08 is like my 09 but I installed towing power mirriors on my 09 and it was a 15 minute job per side. plug and play. The door panels do need to come off.

How many screws or bolts are there in the door that have to be removed? Then do you just pull up on the door panel?

One on each corner on bottom, 1 in middle on bottom, remove small square plastic peice behind door handle, just pry it off with small screwdriver, remove bolt behind the plastic peice. gently pry off radio speaker cover. lift door panel up as it has many plastic hooks, don't pull straight out till you lift up first or you will break hooks.
