Have a set of tow mirrors that i took off the truck. I am interested in selling them if anybody wants them. They have the chrome skull cap on them. I was thinking somewhere around $350 for both. Anybody interested can email me at billbucco64@verizon.net.

How hard is it to change your mirrors. I have a co-worker with a 08 that would like to trade. Is this possible and do you have to remove the inside door panel? Has anyone changed them and would like to share a tip or two?

Don't know if 08 is like my 09 but I installed towing power mirriors on my 09 and it was a 15 minute job per side. plug and play. The door panels do need to come off.

How many screws or bolts are there in the door that have to be removed? Then do you just pull up on the door panel?

One on each corner on bottom, 1 in middle on bottom, remove small square plastic peice behind door handle, just pry it off with small screwdriver, remove bolt behind the plastic peice. gently pry off radio speaker cover. lift door panel up as it has many plastic hooks, don't pull straight out till you lift up first or you will break hooks.

Does anyone know if newer mirrors, say from a 06 fit on a 97?

I'm not worried about the wiring, I can make that work, but will they bolt up?

I need towing mirrors for my 97 F150...

Hi there,
Don’t know if this will help but, I ordered new mirrors for my 96 f150 from a company called the Tong Yang Group. They were just like the factor originals, you might check with them for the tow mirrors you’re looking for, and there prices are rock bottom.
Hope that helps.

Hi there,
I found your diagrams while look for the diagrams for a 96 ford f150 power mirror. I was hoping you might have them or know where I can find them. I’m trying to find out why the power mirrors on my truck aren’t working. I already tried replacing them and that did not work so it’s got to be something with the trucks electrical system. If I had a diagram for the mirrors it would help me diagnose the problem, as of right now I’m only getting power to one of the three pins in the harness that supplies power to the mirrors and it would help to know what the pin goes to.

Thanks for any help.
