I have a 1987 5.0,idle's real up & down.Also burning real rich,followed by decrease in performance.Plugs,cap&rotor,wires,alt,all brand new.Has 110,000 miles, it's been perfect until last Sat.Any help? Original o2,EGR,coil.What do I go after 1ST?Last item,it's lacking some power but when it's on the freeway it won't miss a beat.Thanks in advance Jeff

replace your oxygen sensor or sensors,,this should help.

I would definitely replace the oxygen sensor, then go from there. Maybe your fuel pressure regulator too.
