Dealer installed AC

What album, where? No pics in your "garage" or "gallery" here & the link 3 posts up doesn't go anywhere for me...
*edit* - found them. Didn't know you could do an album like that here. Anyway, really hard to tell what is what from the engine bay pics, but I thought the "dealer air" setup had the hoses go through the firewall on the pass side, like the factory air did.
Any pics of the controls/***** under the dash?

1978/79 Bronco: Same factory installed integral A/C & two types of dealer A/C as 1973/79 F100/350.
Left upper: Economy Dealer A/C / Right Upper: Deluxe dealer A/C. / Lower left and right: Factory installed integral A/C.
If the A/C doesn't match any of these, it's aftermarket. None of these three types have "control ***** under the dash" .. as all three types are built into the dash.
Note that with factory installed integral A/C, the A/C controls are located in the same panel as the heater controls.

Post 62 also says it's for a 78/79 bronco (as well as being labeled 73/79 Ford cars - and yes, bronco wasn't considered a truck, but not all know that) and he has a '77 Supercab. Not that it changes the fact that what he's got is aftermarket, but it might be why he might not have been paying much attention to the post.

1966/79 Bronco parts are listed in the 1965/72 and 1973/79 Ford PASSENGER CAR Parts Catalogs!
My 1973/79 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalogs are on microfiche. I recently bought a 'magic wand' scanner, and by placing slide in microfiche viewer, pic can be scanned.
But pics come out so dark, they are hard to see. Guess I'm gonna have to buy the light truck CD version, so I can post pics from that.
Or, y'all can ask mikeo0o0o0 to post the pics, cuz he has the CD version.
EDIT: Post 17 = Jermafenser posted the CD light truck parts catalog pic of the Deluxe dealer A/C, compare with Bronco pic...it's exactly the same.
Post 33 shows an actual color pic of the little charmer installed in a truck.

I have two more places that I will be checking with to see if they are willing to get into it. Since I am unable to take it out myself right now. It may have to wait until I can do just that. The main thing I wanted to find out what kind of unit I had. My father in law who bought the truck in 79 told me it was dealer installed. I assumed he ment Ford dealer. But since it is aftermarket that is unlikely. He had the heater core replace 8 years ago and he said the garage that did it said they would never do another one like it. There is very little to no room under the dash and even with the glove box remove it is hard to get to anything. I had and 89 F250 with air and replaced the heater core with no problem. On this to replace a control cable of the heater I had to use a socket with wrench head on it with a screwdriver pressing against it and the dash with a mirrow. Could not get my hand in there. I may have to find out how to remove the dash to get to it.

My 1978 has the ecomomy system. Compressor kicks on and everything seems to be in order except for a hole in the low pressure line so no freon. Are dryers/expansion valves available still? Basically your regular service parts. Also it appears the lines are just hose clamped instead of crimped. Does this mean I can get away with just replacing the hoses and flush everything/vaccum/recharge? (assuming the compressor works. Its definitely not locked up though)
