MPGgains with exhaust?

MPGgains with exhaust?
I know I would get a ittle more power if I got rid of the OEM exhaust buthas nybody really had a mpg gain changing the exhaust I am getting around 11 with the oem exhaust.

some will say they got a little gain like a .5 to 1 mpg but geting a good cat back system is mainly for the noise

exhaust
Cut off that giant factory muffler and replaced it with a magnaflow. Sounds good .....MPG increase ....ummm have to say no.

I can't wait to install my Magnaflow single in/dual out side exhaust (PN#16616). I have heard minivans with a better exhaust note than my truck!
But no, you won't really see an increase in MPGs. Most likely your mileage will go down because you can't keep your foot out of it!

Yes the exhaust tone was better but IMHO I think you loose low end torgue with after market exhaust.

exhaust=gain in mpg's, maybe
but because of the sound that I like, I stay on the gas more
