I dynoed mine way back when on a mustang dyno and pulled 240 rwhp with a clogged fuel filter. I thought that sucked, I was expecting more.

You guys are killin me, all this dyno talk, I really need to get my 04 Turbo'd V10 on the rollers. I took it out today, got the PCV system worked out. set the WG to 10lb of boost. Damn this thing pulls my excursion like a big block mustang.

Yes Ford and I guess pretty much all OEs post flywheel numbers with the entire stock exhaust system too I believe. The drivetrain loss is usually over 30% on the SDs, which is quite a bit.

Sounds like some fun right there.

I just read through the catalytic converter thread from 2008 and would like to see some actual numbers in this thread. Stock converter, flow through converter and straight pipe. Stock tune with the test pipe is the one I would be most interested in. My 99 V10 sits in a 36' Pace Arrow Vision motorhome and pulls a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Just driving around is heavy duty hauling. I only get 6.8 mpg, but I did pick up some power with the install of shorty Gibson headers.

I have a stock V10 and would like to give this Ypipe a try. Couple of questions. Is this a easy fix and could I do it myself in my garage without any welding? Also who has the best ypipe for the money. Thanks.

If you have never worked with exhaust systems you would probably be biting off more than you could chew..... rusted bolts... stuck pipes....having the right tools....everything sounds simple until you actually try doing it...
