Getting ready to do service whats the size of the tool needed for the lower fuel filter and the oil filter?

36mm. You can get a Lisle socket from any autoparts store for about $8. It is a shortened version that I found helpful in changing the frame rail fuel filter (HFCM).

The small fuel filter takes a 24 mm socket or 15/16 inch.

Be sure not to over tighten these caps - they can crack (and of course, lube the new o-ring w/ oil).

 

Thanks bismic, went down to advanced and i'll be damned if they did not have one on the clearance cart....got it for $.25 yes twenty five cents....even though it is a full size socket worked great.......thanks again.
