01 F150 40MPH surge
Posting for a friend since I only roll with the diesels :P
Anyway he as an 01, F150, ext cab, 4x4, auto tranny, 5.4, and about 110,000 miles.
No CEL on, tranny fluid clean and full.
At about 40mph the truck surges, to me it feels like the TC is locking and unlocking. Now if your accelerating to 60 you never feel anything, but if you are at a steady 40mph the RPMs and and MPH move up and down.
