It and myspace were named by the govt as viral sites and all accesses are blocked from govt computers.

each of those cutsie 'applications' you can do to others simply install data miners, spyware, trojans or outright viruses.

and the worst part is, if you have an internet sever on your pc - such as IIS or Apache, it autodetects the known open ports and attempts to clone the bots.

I think it can be rather habit forming. Addiction might be a little strong but I've seen some kids spend hours on it every day.

I just recently joined Crackbook, I don't know what the big craze is with it, I guess it's as good as a social network could get, I have nothing to compare it to really, I've never used My space or any others of it's kind.

Although it does appear to be quite compelling to some who use it as a daily ritual, I rarely go on Facebook, but would have to admit, it is kinda neat to talk to people I haven't seen in years, but for me it lacks Stimulus and I have a very low attention span and get bored very quick and Facebook seems just boring to me.

Not sure what would compel one to spend hours on Facebook, but there are many who spend lots of time on it, Perhaps I'm missing something...

At least the CIA will have lots to work with......... lol

I've been on both for years, but I never log in anymore. Nobody ever posts anything to me or e-mails me on either site. Every now and then somebody from my home town will add me, usually it's someone I know OF but not somebody I actually knew personally.

Facebook has put me in touch with a lot of my high school classmates too!

Some still look good after 39 years! I don't!

I had Myspace but stopped using it. The wife and I each have our own face book. She is on it more than I am, but its a great tool for getting back in touch with some old friends from high school I lost contact with.

Facebook.
You'll never see my face in that book.

MySpace.
Well, that's not my space, so, you'll never see me there, either.

I hardly maintain my myscape page any more.

I use facebook quite a bit. Great way to reconnect with old friends and classmates.
