To save you money on all the fluid changes:
Wal-mart has the 75w140 synthetic gear oil for the rear (super-tech, made by warren performance products, same oil as cam2 synthetic) for a price well below anywhere else. They are ALWAYS sold out of it around here.
I swear by the Super-tech synthetic motor oil at wal mart. I've been using it since it came out and 5qts cost $17. One hell of a deal
Napa's house brand synthetic Mercon 5 is made by valvoline and is the cheapest I could find.
The front diff doesnt require synthetic, so don't use it. Save the money.
Be very careful when changing the plugs. Tq them to EXACTLY 11ft.lbs and use anti-sieze.

get the ball joints looked at asap, also swaybar bushings and end links, they are know to them, also get a few quotes on getting the exhaust studs replaced, im going to be doing mine once i get my mustang running. Get a k&n air intake and lose the stock muffler. you will get about 1-2+mpg from these 2 upgrades.

If your serious with the above statement you may want to pay someone to perform all this maintenance your hoping to do. That said, all fluids should be replaced. My only warning is to consider not doing the transmission. In my experience if a vehicle hasn't had regular transmission flushes and your above 80,000-100,000 miles leave it be. Changing the factory fluid on a high mileage transmission is the kiss of death. If it's had regular service (which you state you have no record of) then a trans flush is in order.
You should also do fuel filter, air filter, belts, plug/wires, grease any fittings, service 4wd hubs, and flush/replace brake fluid. If you have to pay for these services then your looking at a hefty bill which may exceed 2,000 dollars.

2. V10s never had plug wires.
3. If you don't do them yourself, you are really close to the right price.... My uncle paid for a complete service. They quoted $400, he ended up paying $1900.
