Stretched the wheelbase out 15", after I went to the shortbox frame it didnt seem to always track as straight. So, back to a longer wheelbase. Also dumped the crap power steering, kicked it out of my yard and shot it in the azz after exploding and catching the truck on fire. Now I have a manual rack n pinion setup. Works ok, alittle tough to steer around the pits, but once she's cookin its easy.

And for those wondering, the D44 front lives...still...with no breakage...after my abuse

Looks AND "motivation" for next year. Went and checked the local rules as well and I may end up stretching the front like yours to help in weight transfer

ah ya, I like the stretch so far (only done 1 race and a day of playin in the cow pasture so far) It does seem toride better, and it clears things up alot for workin onthe truck. As for weight transfer I haven't actually weighed it yet to see how much difference it made. Gonna have to wait till spring now I guess. I dont know if the front picks up as much now as it used to, but its hard to tell, only been on slippery surfaces, nothing that it could really hook into.I'm waiting to see on one more rule change, then my progress can start in the motivation department
