This is a 1957 thru 1960, correct?

Both the brake and clutch cylinders are prolly leaking, you can buy repair kits for both of them.

Post back with the exact year, and whether it's a F100 or F250, and I'll give you the info.

Please...when asking questions, list all the pertinent info: Year, Series, Engine, etc.

If this is something that has been setting for a while the pistons may be stuck down in the cylinders and not moving. Just the pedals moving when you pump it. If so you will probably need new cyls.

The hose that routes from the master to the clutch slave cylinder was sold by Ford as a separate part (it's now obsolete), but all the steel brake lines had to made made up from scratch out of bulk steel tubing, as Ford never sold these lines at the parts counter.

There may be some aftermarket reproduction parts dealers making up steel brake lines. I know some have done this for the 1968/79's.

You can buy new clutch master and slave cylinder repair kits from NAPA. Obsolete parts vendors have lots of the original genuine Ford kits which are now obsolete.

They also have the master to clutch slave line. I've found dozens of these kits and the line in the past for members.

With new kits, you can hone out the cylinders and install the new seals, which is cheaper than buying new cylinders, which were obsoleted by Ford 20 years ago.

I'd check the repro parts sellers to see if they sell any of the steel lines, because making up the lines up from scratch can be expensive due to the tools involved.

You need the correct diameter steel tubing, the nuts and ferrules, a flaring tool and a tubing bender to make these lines up. None of the old parts can be reused.

The master & slave cylinder seal kits are two individual kits, as you can see.

When you call, just read off the Ford part numbers I typed.

It depends on the condition of your brake master cylinder whether you need a overhaul kit...or not.

If it's not pitted inside, you can replace the individual parts that come in the kit.

If it is pitted inside, you need another master cylinder.

B9C2004A .. Master Cylinder Overhaul Kit / Obsolete / Fits: 1957/60 F100 2WD / 1959/60 F100 4WD.

GREEN SALES has 2.

MILLER OBSOLETE has 4.

DENNIS CARPENTER OBSOLETE PARTS has 12 = 704-786-8139

NOTE: Check with your local NAPA or indie autoparts store to see if they have kits....before calling these obsolete parts vendors.

The local stores will be cheaper, obsolete parts vendors will...in most cases be much more expensive.

The Ford part numbers might be able to be crossed over to the brands local autoparts stores sell...they might not be.
