Looks cool, I like the 3/4 view pic. I need some of those tires on mine.

It looks good! But, how tall are those lift blocks in the back? They look pretty tall.

Well since its a stock highboy, it already has a 3in block on it, and than i bought another 3in block lift for it, some might think its a bad idea but i've never had any problems, i just had to spend $100 for new u-bolt and a few $ for 36in tires

Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting started on my 67 F-100 this spring. Putting a 390 in it also.

Just try to do alot of the work yourself, i sanded my entire truck down and alot of other little things to, but the body job and paint costed around $4500, and the engine is going to cost around $3500, and the tires and rims costed around $1200 so wow does it add up fast, not to mention all the other little things. But it was alot of fun and i'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Yeah, I'm going to do all but the paint, and the machine work myself. Plan on getting it tore down, and the frame sandblasted and coated this spring. I'd like to have the suspension rebuilt by next fall. Depends on the money though!

And it just feels so much better if you can tell everyone that you did it, not someone else, it will look very good though, any idea of what color you'll paint it? And yes money is always something you have to watch. I also want to re-arch my leaf springs and maybe a 2in block lift and some 40's underneath it, i always like to be taller than everyone around me. Your's is a 2wd right?

Nope, it's a 4x4. I'm going to lift it up some, but not too much. I hear you, I'd rather do as much myself. I'm thinking of a metallic blue, but I'm not quite sure yet. I'm planning on doing all the body/priming, and having a pro shoot it. It's been too long since I painted my last car, and I really don't have a good place to do it.

Is yours a stick, or an auto? Mine is currently a four speed, but I was thinking of adapting a late model five speed to it, if I can find one to work that's beefy enough.

Oh just jack her up as much as possible haha, but metallic blue would look real nice, otherwise if you like red, candy apple red is beautiful on them if you can find the right tone, but as for the primer, make sure you check with the guy who is going to paint it, because some painters will not paint with certain primers, just something to think of cuz thats what we were going to do. I was about to prime it but then he said he wouldn't paint it if i used a certain primer. And mine is a 4-speed, but yeah make sure it'll be able to handle the power of the 390, remember they got over 300hp stock, and with mine, i will just keep the 4speed since i hope to get around 500hp if i can.

Well thank you! And yes i do believe it is, and there's a 70 AAR 340 six pack cuda behind my truck, however, i do not own either. They were just some cars that were in the shop.
