Lightning rearend questions

What type of rearend came in the '93-'95 and '99-'02 Lightnings? Is it the same 8.8" Ford rearend that came from the factory in regular F150s? What modifications were made to this rearend for "Lightning Use", if any?

Lightning rearend questions

93-95 have 8.8" in a Lightning only housing with 4.10 gears and traction lock. It also requires full synthetic lube.

Lightning rearend questions

The 93 - 95 Lightnings have a 8.8", 31 spline, 4:10 geared limited slip "Lightning specific" rearend. It has a ribbed housing where the regular F150's do not.

Im not sure about the 99 up models but I think they have a 9.75" rearend.
