Thanks. I've had two minivans, each for around 15 years, that ran just fine but were finally done in by rust, particularly in the brakes lines. I'm hoping the superduty will do better.....

Have a friend that claims 350,000+ on a 2001, only 3 blown plugs and oil changes....nothing else done to it. I think it's real. only 55K on mine but about 30K of that is towing 12,000K+lbs.
Good to see good results with the V-10. Mine has 300 miles, just picked it up last Friday. 2009 f-350 cc srw 4x4 XLT V-10 with the 4.30 axle ratio. Sure drives nice so far. Mileage is better than my 2006 6.0 liter GM V-8. I guess thats from overloading the hell out of the GM. Nice to have the proper vehicle.
E350 SD 15 passenger van
196,000 and still runs strong.
We pull a 8500# camper loaded with everything we can get in it.
It still has the orginal water pump!
This thread makes me feel much better! I Just picked up a 2003 King Ranch F250 4X4 crew cab with 147K on it from the original owner who is a wrench at a very reputable local small repair shop. It's in GREAT shape, so far. I have yet to spend some quality time getting to know her.........But am looking forward to it.

Friend of the family has a 99 that he's used solely for hauling rv's, has 541k miles on the original, untouched motor. Day after day of running down the highway at operating temp does wonders for the motor, that's what he told me one time when we were discussing his truck.
A shuttle van company out of the twin cities had a pair of V10 E350's with ~850k on em last June when I rode in one of them, oil changes and spark plugs are what the driver said is all they've needed.
I'm currently looking for a Super Duty, unsure of what I'll end up with for miles, but plan on putting at least an additional 150k on the truck myself.
