322,000 as of tonight.. Just got done with exhaust manifold gaskets & studs, complete tune up, and a 3in cat back.. Truck runs looks and drives great, but it has had a lot of work done on it since new, luckily i'm pretty OCD as far as my maintenance goes. Manifold studs and gaskets at least 4 times, ball joints & tie rods a few times, axle joints and u joints all the way across. It did have a new engine put in at 102,000, been great since then. My only concern is how much longer the 4r100 will last for (original to the truck), shifts nice and strong still but the thought is still there. Bought the truck from my dad (who bought it new) for my first vehicle, had it for 5 years now and love it. Plan on buying a bulletproofed 6.0 if I can find one thats clean and what I want.. But I just cant see myself ever getting rid of this truck, its been good to me, and I want to drive it until its falling apart just to see how far she will go.

Mine is a 2valve (07 econoline) and it's about 235,000.
High mileage has its risks regarding engine/driveline wear or failure. But I think the bigger risks are regarding the vehicle as a whole.
Rust, rubber bushings, hoses, brake lines, electric motors (fuel pump, HVAC blower, window motors, starter, alternator), electrical gremlins... There's thousands of opportunities for failure on high mileage OR high age vehicles.
Engine longevity is important, but WAAAAAY down the list of potential problems.

Oh well, I have two employees now, so I'll be doing less of the work. Maybe bring her down around 500/week.
And i I still haven't changed spark plugs nor fixed exhaust studs. Just keep trucking
