What's slated for the future? I have heard many stories. One was the '03 L will be up around 400hp and 475ft/lbs of torque. The other was the one I'm sure we've all seen, with the unibody, hard cover with flames engraved on the cover and in the seats. Another story I heard was the L would be discontinued after '03 (God I hope not!). Does anyone have any good reliable info, or even better some links where you can read about the new L's? Thanks

Ummm, say what? I believe the '02 has 380 hp, same as previous year, 20 up from the original 360 of the 2nd gens. And the '03 isn't even out yet...so unless you're running an '02 that's been chipped with a Diablo which I believe does give something like 25 hp, that number is just wrong...
I have a 2002 and when it was stock she only had 380rwhp. the 2003 are going to be the same. the new boddie styles is where it will get interesting i have pics of the new lightnings in my galleries so go look at it if you want i belive it is the 2004 model or 2005 the truck will have 425 rwhp and i may have to get me one
