Hey, do you remember me mentioning the Wagon Wheel campground in Two Harbors? Well, my wife called to book us for Labor Day weekend. They are now strictly seasonal sites! D'oh! I do not like to see this trend in campgrounds.
Hello Minnesota,
I am headed that way on sun or mon. going to Louisberg for my friends wedding. Thought I would stop in. What is gas running out there? It is about a 1500 mile trip one way so I hope I will make it back here on budget.

It's melting!, It's melting!, It's melting!!!!!!!!!!!!!........Finally, I pray that we've "turned the corner" and warmer weather is here!!!......my son and I actually were able to work on his 51 F-1 yesterday with both of our shop doors open and no heat on!!!....kinda sad in a way that 50 degrees for us almost warrants breaking the shorts out!!....go'in to work on it again today, we have it down to the frame now and will finish stripping it of it's remaining parts, then we can start heading back in the other direction!!!....lots'a cleaning, sand blasting, metal work, priming ect. ect. ahead......but is'nt that why we engage ourselves in this silly hobby?......wo'nt be long and my "winter layoff" from work will be over and then back to the grindstone!....I'll bet we "lost" well over a foot of the white stuff yesterday and we'll see some more dissapear this weak....YEAH!!!!
Well off to the shop, enjoy the great day ahead!!
Later all, Doug

Eric,
Just filled up the wifes 4 runner @ $1.85 20 minutes ago. Have a safe trip!!!!
The weather has been great once I got past the rain out in Penn, and it is nice here in Louisberg. I got around 17 mpg with my 4.6 running at 65-70 and 16 mpg at 70-80 mph so that has been good and about what it should be I think with a light load.
I am a resident here for about a week, can I join the MN chapter as honorary member ?
