I have a 302 5.0L in my bronco, the hoses for the ac unit were previously removed, I am trying to remove items from my belt. I would like to get rid of the ac all together and remove it from the belt, does anyone know what size belt I can use and what i can take off of my belt? A friend of mine told me to remove the air pump aswell, what would removing the air pump do?

As for the air pump there was a thread about that about a week ago. You could go back through the pages to look for it or use the search again. Hope this helps.

 

Lots of places sell AC compressor eliminator brackets. I know summit racing has them for reasonable prices. This would allow you to keep your stock size belt and routing.

 

if you havnt found the belt you need yet the belt size for advance auto parts is an 850-k6 i worked there for a little while.
