2005 2wd f250 spindle and berring
hello,
my truck started squeeling sometimes and it got iritating.
so I took my tires off and checked my berrings to find out that they where all burned up.
so when I took the roter off the inner berring is seized to my spindle.
so now I am going to have to pay not 70 bucks for a set of berrings but also over 400 bucks for a pasenger side spindle...
before I fork up the money. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can get a drop spindle to creat lift. (lift kit. for 2w drive)
I have been searching the internet with no results. please post if you have any ideas.
and also if you know what type and year ford trucks I can use as a doner from the junk yard to steel a spindle from to get me by. thanks.

Use a rubber wheel and carefully cut a groove in the inner bearing race that is seized to the spindle. Do not cut into the spindle, take your time, once you just have a very little bit of race left before hitting the spindle stop and stick a chisel in the cut and try to separate the race off the spindle. You might have to make a cut 180 degrees from your first cut to get it to pop off. Most of the time the race when turning leaves extra metal on the spindle and not the spindle leaving it's metal on the race. Chances are the spindle will be OK as long as it was not overheated. A little cleanup with some fine emery paper to get the spindle to accept a new bearing smoothly and away you go. If the spindle is blued from overheating or there is a trench where the race actually wore the spindle away is when you need to replace the spindle.
