I got a screaming deal on a Dana 60 for my '71. I picked it up the other day and am going to start cleaning it up as soon as I get some free time.

 

good find Jeff. hard to get a "screaming deal" on any 60. Open/closed knuckle, Hi-lo pinion?

Not sure about the open or closed. Never played with axles before. It is a lo-pinion. The seller has another D-60 and if he still has it I am going to pick it up on tomorrow. It has the 4.10 ratio which is incompatible for me but fortunately that is easily changed.

Yay! Hopefully I'll be home by then for awhile! Lost my voice a few days ago, just need to stay home and sweat it out I think but can't afford it. Did you guys get snow yesterday?

 

No snow over here. Just a bit of rain and a lot of wind. Any snow over your way?

 

It snowed on Sunday off and on all day but it didn't stick. It was snowing at the airport when I left, and there was quite a bit in the mountains.
