So as far as adding lift kits, lockers, things like that, there is no difference between 250/350 for SRW correct? Its only the DRW that have diff axles? I haul more in the bed than I tow, so I was contemplating getting a 350 instead of 250 if its mainly just a GVWR rating difference... plus I can get a taller leveled stance factory with the 350 yes? Instead of getting a 250 and adding a leveling kit and bigger blocks aftermarket. I like it lifted just slightly, to clear 35's or maybe 37's. I hear a stock 250 can clear 35's now I figure maybe a 350 with the heavier springs should be able to fit 37's since they are only 1" more and the 350 with heavy springs should be a good 2" more right? I dont mind if I have to limit the steering slightly if they rub just a little either.

My 08 250 crew cab long bed 2wd has a gvwr of 9600 lbs. and carries the weight well, a lot better than I expected.

You can clear 35"s with a leveling kit but you're going to need a lift or a bit of bumper trimming to fit 37's
