Used to camp at Rose Lake when I was younger. Nice area. Don't remember the house though.

It's been years since I was there. Probably shortly after we moved there in the mid 70's. There was fishing in the lake then. I don't think it was an overly large lake. I could be wrong though.

Its not a big lake.
Ive never saw that house before but its very rural area with big acerages so I probably have driven by it.
Theres a subdivision on the hill above the lake it might be there.
How many acres?

I looked at the map and its where I thought it was. Subdivision above the lake.
I know a guy that lives right there somewhere.
Within 2 houses or so Id say.
I built a corral there a few years ago.

Thanks Ken, are the people generally nice in that area, or the scary country folks that all grow BC bud and are weird.

That is the wrong lake. I thought some of the stuff they had written didn't sound right. I do know the Rose Lake you are refering to as I lived on Horsefly Rd. for many years.

Thats cool, I did not know you grew up in that area.
One of my all time fav lakes is quesnel lake, just a little further down the road.

Great fishing, and hiking and hunting in that area.

I like hiking up niagra falls and into the valley above it to.

then take a boat trip to the other end of the lake and have a beer at likely hilton.

All pretty good people out there.
I probably know half a dozen people within 5 miles of that house.
Theres probably some strange ones like there is everywhere these days.
The guy that lives right there somewhere would be a good neighbour.

I fished in Quesnel Lake a few times. Had a girlfriend who's parents had a big boat. Don't want a small boat on that lake. And man is it cold.

Thanks Ken.

Are you more in town, or country living yourself?

Ya I like to jump in it and swim for about a minute, then get out and stand by the fire.....lol

I have been on it in all sorts of boats.
Hurricane point is the worst part, but the whole lake gets damn rough.
Ever paddle a canoie in 5 foot waves.....I have ....LOL
