1947 merc. 1 ton brakes

Can anyone give me directions to someone who may have a brake overhaul kit for my 1 ton.

welcome to the club. if i'm not mistaken, your brake system is the same as mine.(42 mh) i took shoes to brake jobber and had them relined. had my parts jobber contact raybestos for wheel cyl kits. front was-wk-103-1.3/8 bore---rear was wk-104-1.1/5 bore-- master was mk-1. these are reuild kits if cyls are good. complete master cyl is -fd-4570 (wagner lockheed) if wheel cyls are shot, raybestos had some in stock as of july 08. job lot should have some parts, mid ohio ford had some, also macs. hope this helps.
