wheel adapters

But, here is the web site of the guy who makes and sells the adaptors - Lug Nut King. He also sells the larger variety of 1/2 inch lug nuts (the 3/4 inch socket type as opposed to the 11/16 variety NAPA sells). I would get those from him if you don't already have the larger (stock) variety. Here's his link:

If you get a set of these, be sure to tighten them down really well, drive the truck 2 miles or so (turning and stopping frequently to "break them in"), then come home and retighten them - I had one fall of once - along with the front left wheel and tire. This is especially critical if you have those little cone shaped burs built up in your drums lug holes from the lug nuts. Check them a couple more times soon thereafter. And if you ever take them off, mark their position so you are putting them back on in the same place and always retorque after a couple miles.
What happens is you will tighten the adaptors down, but it sits on the top of those burrs. Then as you drive, those eat that 1/32 of an inch into the aluminum adaptor allowing them to move in and finally fit flush on the drum - and they are loose at that point. Mine took about 5 miles of driving before it was off the truck.
Torque retorque and retorque again!
