Problem getting worse

I have an 08' F150 5.4L 4X4 Supercrew, and it has had a vibration at idle since it was new. I would occasionally feel a vibration in the whole truck when sitting at a stop light, now with 4K on the clock it is getting much worse, especially when the A/C compressor engages. It vibrates so bad sometimes that the plastic air intake makes a horrible racket that is quite loud. I can reach in and touch the motor and it is vibrating quite intense, not just the normal jiggling around.

Any ideas to help me tell the dealership would be appreciated(motor mounts, something out of balance, anything).

thanks,

When you go to the dealer, tell them your problems and request you go show the mechanic that will be working on it. More than likely they will flash your ecm to see if there are any codes(also ask to see those as well). Since you only have a couple k on it, drop it off and don't take it back till your happy with it. Sounds to me like a miss of some sort, could be plugs, coils, ecm, who knows. Good luck

Can anyone help with this??? the stealership refuses to even try to help, they blame the aftermarket exhaust and the Roush grille.

Find a different stealership. The grille and cat back exhaust won't cause the problems. And don't forget to tell everyone you know about the poor service from the dealer.

You know, I've heard that the grille can cause all the problems.
Power seats not working? It was the grill.
Wheels break off? It was the grill.

Take it to another dealership.

I had to take my grille off to help my gas milage. I also have a 4.6 liter in an 05 and it has the steady vibration at idle. My 97 4.6 liter did the same thing so I never thought too much of it. It has never gotten worse. Please update when you do find the problem as I am sure others, myself included could benefit from that info should our issues turn for the worst.
