Gm's cash incentive

We're talking about cash incentives of $3K on the 09' F-150? I see GM is offering the following on their Silverado LTZ 4WD extended cab:
$4,000 purchase rebate ending 3/2/2009. I don't see how Ford can sit there with only $3K.

Well what would I do is make my best deal with the rebate an tell them knock off another $1000 or you leave. I bet they will get that $1,000 knocked off.

I just got some F150 literature in the mail. It offered an additional $750 over any other incentives.

A local dealer was advertising a 4X4 Crew Cab XLT for $23,999. I can't find the add but I am pretty sure it was the 4.6 but still shows there is good deals out there. This add was discount and rebates no funky trade in specials.

It was no doubt the 4.6L 3V, but it's a stout little motor, I'd have one.

The ad could have also had discounts not everyone is qualified for, e.g., military discount, grad discount, etc. By the time you sort through Vincent to determine what you're qualified for and add those discounts back in, you may be right where the typical consumer is able to buy it for.

Why would you get the same from GM? They give $4k rebate and you could knock off $1k for a total of $5k.

Today I was told I would receive a 6K rebate off the sticker price of $28000 Canadian, for a 09 f150xl 2wd reg cab long box 4.6L v8.

To me, that's a deal.

Thats still way to high.

Call dearborn ford in kamloops if you plan to buy an F150 in Canada, they will give you a LOT more off than a measly $6,000.

When I was there shopping for my F350, i overheard a guy that was looking at an 09 F150, and he ws offered on the spot $14,000 off MSRP.

And yes I know i should not be listening in on others conversations, but he was standing right there, and I was being nosey.

Not only is that funny, it's smart too! BTW, great job on your home re-fi at 4%! I re-financed at 5.5% 4 years ago, I'm not in a position to do much of anything right now without biting the bullet.
