wow guys, I actually just found one on ebay, its a 7.3 FX4 sweet, 148,000. for 12995.00, I wouldn't mind havin that one but still the trouble of finance. lol. by the way my credit is an average score, The dealer here said it was A paper, whatever that means ( they can make some $$$ off me probably) But anyway Thanks for all the replies. if I can't get what I want soon then I know I will later, and I still got the old 77 straight six, smokin, with gaping holes in the the floorboard, but it's still great in the snow.... oh and I only paid $50.

the key htere is 43000 miles, I think that is too much with that kinda miles for a 5.4 truck that the op is looking at.

you do the same thing with a 5.4 and you will really hate the mpg, but i did not buy the truck for the sweet gas millage i have a bike for good millage lol

I dont know what a good cost would be on a 5.4 with the kind of millage that i have on my 02 lariat v10 but i think i got a pretty good deal but i may be a sucker but i am happy with it and really thats all that matters

Just bought a 2001 with 230000 on it for $4500 and it is spotless, Extend cab long bed with a cap and 4x4. It is a V-10 too. That is waaaaay over priced for that truck. There are much better deals out there and I wouldnt pay more than $6000 for that truck (and it better be real clean).

To many to list.

id hit every site that I can to find a truck...you could even get a truck on ebay and finance it through them.......that is way over priced...Just take some time and look through every site you can and even the paper....btw have you thought about a new truck like an 08 still sitting on the lot with a 5.4? they would be way lower than the msrp

Sounds like you might want to do a bit more looking. I just picked up an 01 F250 with lift and only 43k on the odometer for 13,800

Try a couple of your local lending institutions. You might find someone with a repo coming in and you can make a deal to take over payments. Be honest and let them know what you have for down payment.

Crazy as it seems, call Ford Motor Credit. They will tell you NO, but maybe you'll get lucky. worth a dime.
