Arg, got a fuel leak now

Had the 97 up on the lift today changing the oil, and I noticed it was leaking diesel at the bellhousing. Where can this be coming from?

"Death Valley" or "The Valley of Death" are terms used for the valley in between the cylinder heads, where the fuel filter lives.

Any leaks in the engine valley will drain out of a hole that was purposely put there so fluids will travel out of the valley and down the back of the engine block. It usually shows up in the bell housing area. So look in the engine valley first for fluids puddling.
