Attn Hunters

Any hunters in the Michigan area?

Just a thought but a small game get together would be fun.

I hunt just about everything. deer, rabbit, squirrel, migratory bird,.

And even those pesky coyote's.

So who else hunts?

Got my first Buck this year with a Bow..well the 08 season.

I was in a little area off 26 and omo if any of you are familiar with it.
Seen deer for 3 days in a row since opening was really surprised considering the area, and idiots that go out their to screw around.

Hopefully my lab will do good, I imagine she will if I put enough work into her.

Her father was a great pointer / retriever..

Next month she will be 5 months..time to start light training!!!

Wow.. I have hunted that area.. and like you said.. the people and that area.. Nicely done..Were you closer to Omo, or wilderman road.. did you cross the creek? I havent been back thee in about 5 years.. but it is a fun area to tramp around.. not a bad area for squirel either.

My sister and brother in law live right there at 26 mile road.

I was about 75 yards from omo rd.

I was in the opening by the road were the apple trees are. kinda north of the creek I guess.

Yea I always see squirrel around their. Damn things come out and chatter at ya while your trying to hunt.

I did go out their a few time trying to call some coyote, only called in a nice fox. Diden't take the shot to far.

If it is where I am thinking.. I use to have a stand in that area.. I was walked up on to many times.. kind of gave up..Very glad to hear you pulled something out of there.. Have you seen the DNR officer running around there, she is a cousin of a good friend of mine.. I have seen her a couple of times.. she gets excited when she see's someone pull a deer out of there.. She brags about "her hunters" its kind of cool..

Yes I seen her about 3 years ago. Shorter lady with blond/brown hair?

Seen her during rifle season. was checking to make sure we were legit.

Checked our license and our guns were unloaded when we were back at my truck.

Was very nice.

Yea it was luck to pull something out of their. I shot at 1 opening morning and overshot it. The next morning seen a huge doe but couldn't get a shot. The third morning I got my spike.

Always kick deer out of their at night walking back..just never see them sitting.

Myself my brother and nephew hunt out their.

My nephew had his tree stand stolen
