v10 cold air intake
was wondering if there is much gain with for instance a k&n cold air intake system. i run k&n air filters on everything i own. was wondering if its worth the extra money to get the cold air intake system or just run a k&n air filter. is there a noticable difference in performance, mpg, or ? thanks for the input.

Some say that if you go with an aftermarket intake the Volant is the way to go.
if you are looking to reduce intake temps then you'd be wasting your dough as every v10 I've ever measured pulls ambient air. In fact, that's how I measure the outside air now.
if you want to increase flow or velocity, a straighter tube may help that, just don't expect huge seat of the pants gains.
