I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Last week I replaced ball joints on the right side of my truck. Everything was good for first 50 miles or so then it started with this thumping noise and its coming from the right side. It sounds as if I didn't tighten something up right but I double checked everything I had loose. Now I'm wondering could it be a u-joint in the front drive shaft? Thanks in advance for any help.
Sorry guys I screwed this one up. It was just the brake caliper bracket bolts that I must've not tightened right. One of them fell out and it was causing it to chatter when the wheel was spinning. Thanks for the help anyway.
