Greeting fellow Arkansans! I have submitted my application to join this great group of folks. I am a a born and bred Arkansan that has just moved back home, when I belong. I am the better half of npccpartsman. I am the proud owner of The Granny Truck! I have been away from FTE for a little bit but I would like to come back home, if I am allow. Some of you may know from from other forums as "Granny" or "onefastgranny". I am the old lady who drives that slow old granny truck! LOL I am looking forward to meeting yall and putting faces with names. If you can tell me what you would like for me to bring, what ever it might need to be I am more than happy to help in any way I can. Thanks for letting me hang out with yall.

Edit..... I would be more than happy to bring the beans. I have some great beans that are perfect with BBQ!!!!. I would be honored to help out this way on my first gtg if accepted into the group. Just let me know.

 

I have all the fixin's for the burgers, brats, and stuff like that. My menu is brisket, chicken, brats, burgers, and hot dogs. I may even throw a little deer meat on the smoker. One again, if you all could look through the posts and see what sides and desserts people are bringing and then you can decide what you would like to bring. Can't wait to see you all there.

 

The reason I mentioned beans is because the person who mentioned beans is because they stated that they were going to be unable to make it due to some more serious issues that they were going to be needing to take care of. So I thought I coudl step in and take care of that for them. Along with sending up a few extra prayers for them.

 

One can never have too many beans

In addition to the dessert, i'll bring some drinks too.

 

OK put me down for some beans and if someone will tell me something else that is needed I will add it to my list. Just let me know. What about cole slaw? I got some pretty good slaw as well, if that is needed? OH btw how many folks are we expecting?

 

Coleslaw would be great there should be between 25 and 30 people ( thats counting the kids ) What normally do at these g2g's is everyone brings their own drinks so they have what they want.
I was just looking at our supply of paperplates and plasticware and napkins we have plenty left over from past g2g's I will bring what we have.
Jenny said she is going to make a pineapple upside down cake also. I'm also going to bring a couple packages of hambuger buns.

 

Ok beans and coleslaw it is! Now we just gotta hope this weather holds out! But then again we are talking about Arkansas weather here, so wait about 15 minutes and it will change! LOL

It's on like donkey kong!!! We're like the mailman. We don't let the weather stop us!!!

Plus Deke has that this awesomely huge garage, so we'll be inside more or less.
