I've got 9 SS braided lines and they all have crimped fittings. Screw on fitting should work fine though, I have push-lok fittings on the line from the pumps up to the "T" in the valley.
I was thinking the crimp fittings too. Got the hose crimper might as well use it! Just gotta see if Napa can get any diesel rated SS braided hose...

And Joe I must say that is the cleanest motor I have ever seen. It would take me 100 cans of gunk to get mine like that.
Well the truck only had 37,000 miles on it when I did this conversion so the valley was pretty clean already.

A 7/8" freeze plug goes in the hole. Napa or any parts store will have those.
Just want to make sure I understand this, the two lines going into the sides of the new FPR are the return lines from the front of both heads and the bottom line is the return to the tank? I thought the FPR was to regulate the pressure going in not out? Maybe I'm reading my diagram wrong.

Yes that is right. Its the same as our stock system. its called regulated return.
Also can some one tell me is that a pump that everyone is using on top of the engine,the red thing ,and who makes it and where do you get one , also theres one down on the frame rail.Is that a cylinder style carter pump.
