I'm really excited! my wife Heather and i are going to the sprint cup Nascar race on March 1/09 in Las Vegas. we were at our first nascar race last July 5 at Daytona. it was my dream come true to see a race at Daytona. Being from Canada, its a big deal to tell folks I've actually seen a Nascar race.this time will be cool as well. we are coming in to Las Vegas on Feb 25. we hope to take a tour to the Hoover Dam. if the weather is nice i might rent a Harley Davidson and tour around to see some out of town areas as well. we hope to see some other stuff while out at the track.not sure what is there to take in,but I'm sure it will be a good time. we have had a long snow filled, cold winter. hope its nice weather in Las Vegas when we are there.

 

Have fun and enjoy your trip..I been out that way and it's so nice the hoover dam,bryce canyon,zion national park.So much to see..Can i go..

The casinos are open 24/7, weather or not. We've been a couple of times, great facility, fan-friendly, good times. Daytona was OK, but I think Vegas was better racing.

PS- Racing starts tomorrow night at 7:00 on Fox in Daytona, for those who didn't know.

sweet , now you can watch Mark Martin win his first race with hendricks ! Hell maybe his first" CHAMPIONSHIP " have a great time nothing like a good old nascar race to get youre heart pumping !

 

nascar races are lots better in real life!! I have been to Bristol twice,now that was worth the 725 mile drive to get there!!

Mark Martin is my wife Heather's favorite driver. last year at Daytona i got a picture of Heather beside Mark Martins #8 U.S. Army car on the track in the starting grid before the race. security was just about to say "keep it moving along " to us as i snapped the picture. i like Dale Jr.or Jimmy Johnson. now they are team mates so its easy to cheer for both. i watched the all star race yesterday, Kevin Harvick had a good day,winning the race. Jimmy Johnson,not so good.lots of wrecks..."GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!!!"

 

I used to like mark when he drove the #6 FORD. I still like him as a person off the track,but when he straps the belt on all he is is another chevy driver trying to beat the fords.

 

i love brett farve too , Even as a jet , Mark Martin is a icon in nascar . and a all around superb racer . chit was in the points race only running part time . WATCH HIM THIS YEAR !!

 

While in vegas stop by the shelby plant.It is at the off ramp for the race track,cant miss it.
