May I ask what's keeping you from filing for a new title using the numbers you already have? Not sure about FLA, but it might not take too long before a new title arrives in the mail.

They make you jump thru hoops and want to know what brand ( Soft Touch ) and style ( single ply or double ) of TP paper you use . Had the same problem with the 1ST-RIDE .It was registered from Nov. 11 '51 till Aug '68 in Wis.Fla DMV said I had to get a copy of that from the Wis. DMV.So called Wis. DMV with the VIN. and they said that vehicle was never registered in Wis. After all the ph.calls adn argueing with DMV people my head hurt and I resorted to Coor's Silver Bullet !!!

Instead, you should have asked for "historic documents and regalia" that you would like to "frame and hang on your wall for decoration".

The worst thing you can do to a person with Bohemian blood is to discourage them . It will only make one try harder .This will be accomplished one way or another .The other truck has a F6 ID plate and title . The officer only wanted to see the matching numbers . He was not intelligent enough to know what the numbers meant . As the saying goes there is more than one way to skin a cat .

A reminder that FTE can not allow illegal activity discussions.....This can get this site into trouble.
