Switching from synthetic to dino in my 7.3

I have been running Schaeffers 15-40 synthetic blend in my 03 7.3 for about 18,000 miles. The engine has 159,000 on it now. I read so many good things about the oil and have done my UOA's on it and Im not impressed. But I DONT want to get into a oil bashing talk!!!!!!!!

All I want to know is has anyone switched back to dino oil and had any problems with their 7.3?

Thanks

You can alternate every oil change and you will never have an issue. Alot of people think there is problems when switching oils but it is a myth.
What are you going to do? Go with to the ol' reliable Motorcraft?

Costco had a sale on Delo 15w-40 dino for $51 for 6 gallons!! So I stocked up. I also have a Jetta TDI that I can run it in. But when that runs out I will probably use Rotella T again. I got the best UOA in my 7.3 when using Rotella dino and the Motorcraft filter.

Rotella 5W-40 synethetic would be a great choice. It is a very stout oil. Always gives great UOA's.
