Swap Center Seat for Console?
I'd like to swap the center seat in my '04 for a console (year doesn't matter). Will they interchange readily, and if so, what years will interchange with the '04? If anyone wants to trade, let me know.

Yes.
Here's a 08 center console in my 07 (will bolt into a 99-09 truck)....you need the brackets that come with it.

How much lower is that center console? I see you don't have the captains chairs with the arm rests, is your right arm really low?

It's cleaner than my rig.
How much further forward does it sit than the stock center seat? exactly...
I have a gps in front of my shifter, which I miss by about 1/2", and I am hoping to put in the console without having to bend the shifter too much.

Yep, been vacuumed out many times. That's really not that bad compared to other times.
It is a work truck after all.

If I remember correctly 1-1.5" lower than the center seat was.

Never measured how far it sticks out....I will later.
At least a few inches further out at the cupholders of the console.

Heck, that's nothing. My '08 has 20K and has been vacuumed once. The kicker (which should be somewhat obvious) is that I am a car wash owner. Oh well, it's a work truck.
BTW, it's covered in road salt right now. I'm lovin it
