Are you talking about a cover that bolts to the tranny or the sheet metal part in the floor? If it's the floor sheet metal Northern Classic Trucks sells them without a hole.
Ford Truck Parts and Repair Panels for your classic truck at Northern Classic Trucks
Their web site seems to be down right now but you can try tomorrow. I think they cost about $95.

Hey Rusty!
Here's one of thenew ones on e-bay
eBay Motors: Direct Sheetmetal 48-52 Ford Pickup stock trans cover (item 270333265661 end time Feb-19-09 12:32:56 PST)
There are usually lots of them on e-bay! Keep checking. Thye come up about once every three weeks or so on e-bay and usually don't sell.
Best,
Julie

Tee hee - Hey Ilya, wadaya call that thing in the middle of this one? It's not stock it's an after market mod and it will fit.fine.
Hey you are into the parts selling thing here - you should have a tranny cover somewhere don't you. Should be lots less than this new aftermarket one - right?
Why don't you two connect up?

As a matter of fact, I do have one, but it has a hole for the shifter and there are a few rust issues. In my opinion, it's good for a driver, but you'll have to fill the hole. And, yes, it will be lots less than the new aftermarket.

Rusty, if you're interested, shoot me an email or PM.

But not to worry...any plug "cheap" or otherwise, is a good one right?
